DocsCorp hosted the Portland SharePoint User Group February 2013 Event!

DocsCorp hosted the February 2013 meeting of the Portland SharePoint User Group, and our president and co-founder, Dean Sappey, talked about how to improve access to content in Sharepoint. As businesses increasingly use SharePoint to manage and store documents of all formats, the reliance on search results becomes more important. However, a substantial percentage of documents stored in SharePoint cannot be found because they don't contain any searchable text. Relying on metadata is insufficient and it's not uncommon for documents to be misfiled, or lost.  DocsCorp's solutions ensure that the unstructured data in all documents can be found in any SharePoint site. Whichever tool you use to search for content in SharePoint, it's important that all the content in documents can be indexed. The Portland SharePoint User Group is the largest SharePoint user group in Oregon, with over 400 members. Visit their site to register for the next event. We hosted on: Wednesday February 20th, 2013 11:30am - 1:00(1:30?)pm At: Microsoft Portland Office 1414 NW Northrup St. Suite 900 Portland, OR 97209
