DocsCorp will be exhibiting this year at Booth # 1043 at the ARMA Live! Expo! The ARMA conference is the premier event for information governance professionals and is organized by ARMA International, the authority on governing information as a strategic asset. ARMA International also develops and publishes standards and guidelines related to records management. Information governance professionals visiting our booth will be able to see how to find and solve a common problem in content repositories – unsearchable data. Information management depends on access to the data stored in documents. As much as 30% of documents in a content repository can be invisible to search. The cause is usually image-based documents - JPGs, TIFs, PNGs and image PDFs. Since they are image files with no text, they do not get indexed and therefore they are invisible to search technology. We can fix that. contentCrawler is a backend rather than a frontend process that delivers huge benefits to law firms in terms of efficiency, productivity, searchability as well as cost savings. More importantly, a backend approach to OCR'ing ensures that all documents are made searchable once they are saved into the content repository, irrespective of the entry point. Document management specialists attending the Expo will also be able to see how pdfDocs Binder is a key tool for electronic content management as it automates the process of converting and assembling vast amounts of documents into a single or multi-PDF, which can be distributed to users, clients or third parties quickly and securely. pdfDocs Binder provides the speed and efficiency that is the key for effective information organization, distribution and archiving. We’ll be ready to demo these products, and our entire product suite, at Booth #1043 during the Expo in the San Diego Convention Center in downtown San Diego, on Harbor Drive. The Expo is free to registered attendees and begins Sunday, October 26 – 10:30 am to 5:30 pm and goes until Monday, October 27 – 9 am to 5:30 pm.
