Today we shared that Harper Grey, a leading law firm in western Canada, was able to transition to paperless document review and support better remote working with pdfDocs.
pdfDocs is a project-centric PDF application that gives users the ability to create, collate, edit, annotate, and secure PDF and PDF/A content. It automates the process of converting and assembling vast amounts of documents into a single or multi-PDF binder, which can be distributed to clients or third parties quickly and securely.
“Harper Grey is leveraging pdfDocs to enable better collaboration between our lawyers and clients,” commented Dharam Dheensaw, CIO at Harper Grey. “The COVID-19 pandemic shifted much of our work to remote locations. pdfDocs provided us with the necessary tools to continue to work effectively without paper, providing both cost and time-saving benefits.”
Dharam explained that pdfDocs helped transform the firm’s traditional, paper-based review workflows. Typically, these involved printing, written mark-ups, scanning, saving, and emailing. Now, document review is a purely electronic process. “We can sign, annotate, and redact documents electronically and produce electronic PDF binders that can be securely shared with our clients.”
Bob Moore, DocsCorp VP of Sales, Americas, said, “We are excited to see the success that Harper Grey has experienced since it switched to pdfDocs to replace paper workflows and save time. With so many people working from home, pdfDocs is helping many firms accelerate their move to electronic court bundles and digital editing and review.”
